Lifelong Learning with PBS Michiana

Overview

PBS Michiana - WNIT bridges the gap between educational resources and the local community, specifically focusing on students, families, and educators. We implement PBS KIDS content, PBS LearningMedia, and other educational materials through workshops, training, and community partnerships.

Professional Development

We conduct workshops and training sessions for teachers and childcare providers on how to integrate PBS educational resources, such as PBS LearningMedia and PBS KIDS content, into classrooms.

Community Outreach & Partnerships

We build relationships with schools, libraries, Head Start programs, and museums to distribute educational materials and share digital tools.

Family Engagement

We organize family-focused events, such as screenings, workshops, and community meetings to support early learning and literacy.

Resources

We create, manage, and share educational toolkits, media-based lessons, and other materials to support STEM, literacy, and social-emotional learning.
